“Let inspiration inspire you and take every opportunity,” Rosie says. “It doesn’t matter whether it’s something big or small, but it will lead somewhere as long as you try hard and do a good job. And have fun doing it! It’s pointless to spend your life doing something that you don’t enjoy. As long as I’m shooting, as long as I’m taking pictures and asking people to climb into mud puddles, and painting my front driveway yellow, I’m happy. And I can’t wait to see what’s next!”

  1. Did the masses finally wear you down yesterday? haha :P

  2. One of the best photographers on Flickr, in my humble opinion. It’s so nice to hear good things happen to people. The ‘Maroon 5’ story was really cool. I remember showing and talking about the CD to my hubby as if we [Rosie and I] were bosom friends. You can’t help but be proud.

  5. The sentiment in this post is what we all want to believe is true. What was interesting in Scott’s post was what he discovered through observation and experience. Scott’s point of view was based on extrinsic rewards. “The more successful I am, the happier I will be. ” Rosie’s takes a different tact, an intrinsic point of view, “If I am able to express my inner feelings and my true self, then I will be successful.” Both approaches can create feelings of success and both work.
