    • The best camera is the one that’s the right-tool-for-the-job. Sometimes it’s a MFD, a M4/3 or even an iPhone (not just because you have it with you, but because it’s the right tool).

      I agree, technology changed rapidly over the past 10 years, and it will change even faster in the future.

  2. the technology became extremely affordable. we sold a house to do a start-up in the photography business, which bought us 2 cameras, 3 lenses and a trip to Europe. These days you get a decent camera as a birthday gift.

  3. Yes, he should choose Canon then.
    This way he’d never be as disappointed in quality to compare Nikon to a iphone. lol

  5. There have been a couple image projects that did not involve a camera, nor involve going anywhere. Perhaps Google Street View will completely replace cameras in the future. ;)

    The issue is something not enough men and women are speaking intelligently about.
