  2. There’s a lesson to be learned from his focus, drive and commitment to doing the best he can do. He’s at the rare apex in his life and calling where he can choose to do what inspires him and work on what he deems to be of high enough quality to justify his time and expertise. If only we all could be so committed and fortunate!

  3. I submitted a mock up for a book to Herr Steidl. His staff was unfailingly polite and kind and the rejection letter was as generous as possible. Pretty good response considering some/many/most publishers don’t even acknowledge a rejected submission.

  4. To be a chosen one might be epic.
