  1. Honesty is the very best we can hope for but also probably the most desirable outcome in any case. How many people do we know in everyday life who are truly, totally objective?
    Mechanical dispassion produces nothing worth seeing, nothing worth reading and nothing that reflects the human experience.
    Balance – absolutely, but when circumstances prevent (and they sometimes do in my experience) honesty is the only thing worth a damn.
