    So much for the idea that innovative content would drive the new generation of publications.

    Glad these publications found a way to bump up revenue in a tough economy; but shameless pandering won’t promote a loyal reader base.

  2. I think it is easier for established publications to add content in other than print delivery. What would be great to see is how much of an increase in ad revenues occurred due to non-print distribution methods.

    As content producers, we should welcome the increase in distribution methods. However, I think we should also see an increase in revenues due to wider usage of our images.

  3. Have to say…Im a late iphone adapter, just got one. I’ve spent a small fortune on apps and music, that I normally wouldn’t buy just because it’s there.
