In a highly anticipated announcement, Justice Department attorneys cited “class action, copyright, and antitrust” concerns in asking U.S. District Court Judge Denny Chin in New York to reject the currently constructed class action settlement between Google and the Authors Guild, which had sued them.

  1. I hope the authors and publishers go after google with everything they have! How can google not understand the importance of intellectual property?

    Google is starting to look like an evil empire and with all the information they have its not hard to see something go terribly wrong in the future.
