If you want to see how someone perfectly balances the editorial and commercial worlds of photography and you’re majoring in a photo program in the final or next to final year then send Chris a resume and cover letter (chris(at)chrisbuck.com) because this is an incredible opportunity for aspiring photographers and photo editors to get their feet wet in this business.

The intern will be able to accompany the photographer on local shoots as a 2nd or 3rd assistant. Also, we encourage the asking of lots of questions regarding the industry and the craft of photography.
(This internship is different than many in that the student is almost always working directly with the photographer.) This is an unpaid position but we do offer a $15 per day stipend. The position is for
two full days a week in the office and the runs from mid-September until mid-December.
if only i lived in new york, i’d be there!!

At least there is a stipend. I think it’s rude, frankly, to not feed your slaves
